The “BioPrepolymer®” is a binder that is progressing the reaction by heating. It has the functions of adhesion, molding and curing.
Appearance | Advantage | Cure temperature |
---|---|---|
Resin(Powder) type | Wide heat range The “BioPrepolymer®” can be selected from the cure range of 180 ℃ to 230 ℃ according to its environmental use. |
High-speed curing It is possible that the production tact will be shortened, because it will reach the practical curing stage within one minute at the most suitable temperature.(except for some products) |
Aqueous type | One liquid aqueous dispersion No harmful solvent is used and it is superior in environmental performance. In addition, the use time is longer than a two-liquid binder, and it is easy to handle. |
Low temperature curing It is cured at the low temperature of 150 ℃. |
There is no emission of formaldehyde from the cured material. Therefore, it is able to be used for automotive interior parts.
It becomes carbonized over its heat-resistant temperature (except for some products).
It leads to a saving of oil resources, as it uses raw biomass materials.
It is superior to phenolic resin regarding its alkaline-resistance(except for some products).
