Environmental Policy
Daiei Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. ("Daiei Sangyo ") recognizes the protection of the global environment as a top priority for humankind. Accordingly, Daiei Sangyo makes it a basic principle to operate its business in a truly eco-conscious manner.
Basic Policy
Daiei Sangyo engages in a variety of sales and manufacturing activities, offering diverse products and services. For instance, it operates the auto parts business that deals with rubber resin products, the metals business that handles steel sheets, and the food manufacturing business that focuses on food products. To conduct these activities in an eco-friendly manner, Daiei Sangyo provides the basic policy as follows:
- We will make efforts to save energy, recycle, and implement business activities that are friendly to the local environment.
- We will comply with legal requirements applicable to Daiei Sangyo’s environmental operations and other requirements to which the company agrees, in order to prevent and improve environmental impacts.
- We will set environmental objectives and targets and establish an environmental management system to continuously execute the “plan, do, assess, and review” cycle.
- We will work to meet customers’ environmental needs and improve their satisfaction.
- We will fully communicate our environmental policy to Daiei Sangyo’s employees and those who work for Daiei Sangyo, raising their environmental awareness.
- We will endeavor to protect the natural environment from harm and degradation that might arise from Daiei Sangyo’s activities, products, and services.

Our new head office building has acquired the ZEB ([net] zero energy building) Ready certification in an assessment based on the Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS).
The project was chosen for the Ministry of Environment’s 2021 Initiative to Promote Building Decarbonization and Resilience Improvement, and we are applying to be registered as a “ZEB leading owner.”
Our next-generation office building adopts high-performance energy-saving equipment to reduce primary energy consumption as well as an energy creation-storage-linked system.
Information Security Basic Policy
Daiei Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd. ("Daiei Sangyo") will engage in company-wide efforts related to information security, based on the following policy to protect the information assets in its possession from various threats and to live up to the trust of its business partners and society.
1. Management's responsibility
Daiei Sangyo’s management will lead the way in systematically and continuously improving and enhancing information security.
2. Establishment of internal systems
Daiei Sangyo will organize a unit to safeguard and improve information security and stipulate information security measures as official internal rules.
3. Management of information assets
Daiei Sangyo will appropriately manage the information assets (including personal information and information that can identify an individual) in its possession to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and will strive to prevent any unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage to these assets.
4. Efforts by employees
Daiei Sangyo's employees will seek to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in information security and bolster Daiei Sangyo’s information security initiative.
5. Compliance with laws, regulations, and contractual requirements
Daiei Sangyo will comply with all laws, regulations, standards, and contractual obligations related to information security, and will live up to its business partners’ expectations.
6. Handling violations and incidents
In the event of a legal violation, breach of contract, or incident related to information security, Daiei Sangyo will respond promptly, investigate its cause, and work to prevent its recurrence.
