We maintain open, sincere communication with our customers while unwaveringly implementing sound trading practices to consolidate relationships of mutual trust.
Daiei Sangyo was established soon after the end of WWII by the late Tojiro Okamoto, who was a prominent executive in the Toyota Group. Focusing on auto parts and foods as our core businesses, we have steadily adapted and grown our business offerings in conjunction with the expansion of motorization and the diversification of food culture. Today, the Daiei Sangyo Group has 18 offices and manufacturing sites in Japan and abroad, fulfilling society’s needs and living up to our business partners’ trust in us.
We handle a wide range of merchandise including auto parts, rice, condiments, liquor, and confectionery, which give you convenience and pleasure in various scenes of life. The automobile industry is entering a period of radical change that may occur only once in a century, and extreme climate change has been causing serious impacts on crops. Despite these adversities, we are determined to maintain open, sincere communication with our business partners, employees, and other stakeholders, unwaveringly implementing sound trading practices to consolidate relationships of mutual trust, as stipulated in our management philosophy.
The company celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023, and steady growth over the next quarter century will lead us to the centennial mark. Accordingly, we have newly built a head office building and the Kariya Logistics Center, which are environment-friendly facilities that can accommodate fast-changing work styles and logistics. We also plan to build new plants in three locations. Going forward, we will continue to be of service to society by helping to provide a safe, convenient means of mobility as well as a healthy, bountiful food supply.
