We handle a wide range of metal materials including stainless steel and aluminum products, mainly for use in the auto industry. Examples include coils and cut sheets made of general-use, surface-treated, or special steel materials. Our metal processing operations use three levelers/shears (including an oscillating leveler/shear capable of processing profiled materials) and a shearing machine, as well as a 4.8-ton hoist. This machinery can process slit coils of base metal, allowing us to precisely meet our customers’ various needs.
Metal Shearing Process
The following is an outline of the basic process employed in an oscillatory leveler/shear line:

1. Coil installation
Setting a roll of sheet metal in place
Coils (i.e., rolled sheet metal) that are slit into appropriate widths are delivered from the coil center. A crane is used to place a coil on the processing line.

2. Sheet leveling
Flattening a coiled sheet
As a sheet from the coil is curved, it must be flattened before it can be sheared. Multiple straightening rollers apply pressure as the sheet passes through a leveler to flatten it.

3. Shearing
Cutting the metal sheet
The flattened metal sheet that came out of the leveler is cut into blanks. Typically, a shearing machine with a pair of blades is used to cut the sheet into square or rectangular blanks. A shearing machine with oscillating blades can also cut trapezoidal and rhombic blanks.

4. Packaging
A predetermined number of cut blanks are automatically piled up and packaged for delivery.
