However, the trend surrounding rice is undergoing a major change, and the market’s needs are also diversifying. We at the Grain Department have been preparing to meet varying customer needs by expanding our offerings, which now include the ingredients of miso paste and rice crackers, rice for brewing sake and beer, polished and unpolished rice as a staple food, and more. Furthermore, our business partner, Nakanihon Nousan Kaisha, has an FSSC 22000-certified grain milling plant with the latest equipment and facilities. With these resources, we are leading the rice industry in Japan by putting customers and quality first and tirelessly pursuing food security and safety to meet customers’ expectations.
